B&B's primary role is the manufacturing
of "Compounds" (an Anglo-Saxon term which is used
most appropriately as a synonym for "thermal plastic
granules".
The exclusive manufacturing facility of B&B
COMPOUNDS S.r.l. is within easy reach near the ASI South industrial
complex in Marcianise (Caserta - approx. 30 minutes Northeast
of the city of Naples).
B&B COMPOUNDS boasts a new facility
equipped with state-of-the-art systems for loading, warehousing,
mixing and measuring, and raw materials transport which is
thoroughly automated and handled by

Pc. Manufacturing the PVC plastic
mixture (compound) is achieved through various preliminary
phases including: loading raw materials, measuring and supply,
granulation and packing. Such processes are alternated by continuous
and scrupulous quality control checks, that are conducted to
verify the pre-established parameters within respect to major
industry regulations.

The unloading of raw materials such as PVC, fillers, plastics,
stabilizers, lubricants and coloring agents, is done so directly
from tanker silos, cisterns, and hoppers.
Subsequently, the numerous composites are
collected, and automatic weighing systems are measured and transported
by the utilization of turbo-mixer pneumatics systems. These
machines hold the mixture at room temperature, which is then
heated for friction until the desired temperature is reached.

The
mixture is then passed into a tub containing a cooling jacket.
When a homogeneous powder is finally achieved, it is sucked
up into a granulator to be treated for the distinctive plastic-making
process.
The compound is then pushed through a threading machine by means
of bottomless screws which produce strings that are immediately
cut and reduced to cylinders.
The granular structure achieved following
the cooling period, is then shipped to packing systems, before
it can be stored in the materials area, ready for delivery
and ultimately ready to meet the varied and complex needs
of our Customers.
